A partnership agreement was signed on Monday February 19, 2024 in Algiers, between the Algerian Academy of Science and Technology (AAST) and the National Institute for Global Strategy Studies (INESG), aimed at exchanging expertise between the two parties in scientific and academic research.
Signed at the INESG headquarters, the agreement aims to “consolidate cooperation in training and scientific research” and is designed to be “an important axis for developing knowledge and technologies in Algeria”.
On this occasion, the President of AAST, Kara Mohamed Hichem, indicated that this cooperation was part of the “ rapprochement operations between the Academy and other national entities ‘, adding that this agreement will be ’ a framework for cooperation between the two entities in terms of knowledge and technologies, in relation to the socio-economic and scientific life of the country ”.
For his part, INESG Director General Abdelaziz Medjahed stated that “the Institute shares the same vision as AAST and the same orientations”, underlining that this agreement was intended to “confirm and rationalize the work performed by the Institute with AAST”, adding that “the two bodies will work towards unifying their efforts in the future, with a view to achieving complementarity and coordination between them”.
