A delegation from the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAS), led by its President Mr. Akif ALIZADEH and composed of Messrs. Rasim ALIGULIYEV, Academician-Secretary and Gulam BABAYEV, Director of the Department ”Seismology and Seismic Risks”, conducted a working visit to the Algerian Academy of Sciences and Technologies (AAST) from November 27 to 30, 2017.
The purpose of this visit, initiated at the request of ANAS and with the approval of His Excellency the President of the Republic, was to lay the foundations for cooperation between our two countries in the area of science and technology, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between ANAS and AAST.
The ANAS delegation was particularly appreciative of the welcome accorded to them at the various stages of their visit. It especially appreciated being received by the country’s highest authorities, notably the Prime Minister.
