Algeria faces numerous challenges, including those directly linked to technology. For several decades our country has been striving to appropriate industries vital to its economic and social development. In response to these development imperatives, technology transfer is part of an approach to be implemented to appropriate new technologies within an adapted methodological framework.
Through successful transfer models in a number of industrialized countries, such as the USA, China, Germany and India, we have examined the key dimensions of this approach, such as education, knowledge, skills development, innovation, social equity, technological progress, digitization, governance and international commitments.
