This first Ordinary General Assembly of 2024 was an opportunity to fix the composition of sections and commissions for the current three-year period. The agenda included the following points: (1) Presentation and adoption of criteria for the selection of new AAST members, both permanent and associate, (2) Examination of proposed amendments to the AAST law and internal regulations, (3) Presentation and adoption of criteria for the selection of winners of the Academy’s Grand Prize, (4) Examination of proposals from organizing committees for major upcoming national and international scientific events.
