General Assembly

The General Assembly represents the highest authority of the academy .It is composed of all its members and is sovereign in all questions regarding the Academy’s activities and missions.
The general assembly meets upon the convocation of its president. And is responsible for :

  • drafting and adopting the Academy’s rules of procedure at its first session;
  • electing the President and two (2) Vice-Presidents of the Academy;
  • elecing the new members of the Academy;
  • approving, by vote, the proposals put forward by the Academy Council;
  • adopting the action plans and programs of activities defined within the framework of the Academy’s missions;
  • approving proposals from the Academy Council for the establishment of ad hoc commissions and working groups;
  • adopting the Academy’s draft annual budget ;
