UNIVERSITY ABOUBEKR BELKAID TLEMCEN TLEMCEN – Algeria
Boumediene ABDELLAOUI is a full professor of mathematical analysis and application at the university Aboubekr Belkaid of Tlemcen-Algeria. He got his Ph.D degree in mathematical analysis and application at the Autonoma university of Madrid, Spain in 2003.
From 2002 till 2006 he has been an associate professor at the department of Mathematics at the UAM University, Madrid. In 2006, he joined the University of Tlemcen where he is a full professor since 2013. In 2010, he received the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Young Arab Reseachers in Mathematical Sciences. In the same year, he obtained the Maurice Audin prize of mathematics sponsored by the Society of Applied and Industrial Mathematics, the Mathematical Society of France and the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
One of his main scientific contributions is to have classified all positive solution of the KPZ equation in some particular cases and to have improved local and non-local versions of the Hardy-Sobolev inequalities. From 2013 to 2020, B. ABDELLAOUI was the director of the research laboratory Nonlinear analysis and applied mathematics. In 2015, he was selected as a founding member of Algerian Academy of Science and technology. He is a member of the editorial board of Moroccan Journal of Pure and Applied Analysis (De Gruyter) since 2020.
In January 2021 he has been selected as a Fellow of the Pan-African Scientific Research Council. B. ABDELLAOUI Has published more than 70 articles in international refereed journals and has supervised seven Ph.D doctoral thesis at the university of Tlemcen. He is the leader of a several collaboration projects with Spain, Italy, France, Tunisia, Morocco, and Chili.
